The Humance SDK includes built-in share functionality, allowing users to share projects and stories with friends. This feature is designed to promote project visibility and drive new user acquisition by encouraging shared users to download the partner’s app.

1. What Can Be Shared:

• Projects: Users can share project pages that highlight key details and encourage support.

• Stories: Users can share individual project stories, showcasing specific updates or milestones.

2. Behavior When Links Are Clicked:

• Clicking a shared project link directs the user to a web project page hosted by Humance.

• Clicking a shared story link directs the user to a web story page hosted by Humance.

• Both pages include a Call to Action (CTA) encouraging users to download the partner’s app to:

  • Learn more about the project.

  • Access additional stories or content.

  • Start supporting meaningful causes.

Implementation Details

1. Link Generation:

   • The SDK automatically generates shareable links for projects and stories.

   • These links are pre-configured to direct users to the appropriate web page hosted by Humance.

2. Web Pages Hosted by Humance:

   • Web Project Page: Displays project details, such as its goals, impact, and key highlights.

   • Web Story Page: Displays the selected story, providing engaging content about project updates or progress.

   • Both pages are fully hosted by Humance and include customizable branding options.

3. Customizable Branding:

   • Partners can configure the following branding settings within their Humance account:

     1. Logo: Displayed prominently on web pages to represent the partner’s brand.

     2. Brand Color: Used for buttons and other UI elements on web pages.

     3. Deep Link: Specifies where users are redirected (e.g., the partner’s app or website) when clicking the CTA.

4. Call to Action (CTA):

   • Both the project and story web pages include a clear CTA directing users to:

     • Download the partner’s app.

     • Learn more about projects or stories within the app.

Set Up Branding in Your Humance Account

• Logo:

  • Upload your company logo. A white or transparent background is recommended.

• Brand Color:

  • Specify a hex color code for buttons and key UI elements on the web pages.

• Deep Link:

  • Provide a target URL or deep-link to redirect users when they click the CTA.

Example Use Case

1. A user shares a project with a friend from within the partner’s app.

2. The friend clicks the link and is directed to the web project page, hosted by Humance, displaying the project details.

3. The page includes a Call to Action (e.g., “Get”) encouraging the friend to install the partner’s app to:

   • Support the project directly.

   • Access more projects.

   • Track the project’s progress through stories.
